General

A text or email confirmation of booking details for your appointment will confirm your provisional booking, and your agreement in accordance with all of these terms and conditions. A non-refundable deposit of £50 or 30%, whichever is greater, is required to confirm and secure any future wedding bookings. An invoice for any outstanding balance will be issued 30 days before your booking date and full payment shall be due no less than 14 days prior to the day of the service. The client shall inform myself of any allergies or product sensitivities they may have before any treatment takes place (a patch test may be needed). This also includes but is not limited to, medical conditions or any issues that may affect the use of equipment’s and products. I reserve the right to refuse service to any client for, but not limited to, any behaviour deemed threatening or abusive and all payments made prior to this will be retained.

Trials

Trials are recommended for all make-up occasions as I want all of my clients to be happy with their style on the day. Trials are to be paid for upfront or at the time of the trial taking place. If a client decides to cancel a wedding booking after a trial, the full trial amount plus any travel to the trial is still chargeable and non-refundable. A trial is approximately 1.5 hours for make-up and 2.5 hours when including hair. If the client is happy with the trial and wants to book for an event, a non-refundable deposit will be due to guarantee a booking. The cost of any trial and deposit will be deducted from the final invoice cost. Should you not be happy after a trial, there is no commitment to make a booking.

Bookings & Deposit

I will supply a full quote and confirm availability upon request. To secure a wedding booking, the client will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £50 or 30% of the total proposed price, whichever is greater. This deposit is due within 10 days of the proposal being sent. I will then provide a full booking summary and confirm receipt of the deposit. It is the client’s responsibility to check the booking summary and ensure that I am notified of any errors within 7 days. If the client notifies of an error after this period, and I am unable to fulfil the booking, cancellation fees may apply. Please note, the booking is not secure until your deposit has been received in full and I have confirmed with a booking summary. I reserve the right to re-book or cancel your date if fees are not paid on time. The booking deposit is non-refundable for any reason (this includes acts of God, fire, pandemic, illness, strike and/or extreme weather) unless cancelled by myself.

Cancellations & Fees

If for some reason you need to cancel your booking, your cancellation must be confirmed by email or telephone. If a wedding or part of booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of the wedding date, the balance will be required in full. All deposits are non-refundable. Please note that all changes or cancellations MUST be stated in writing once confirmed. In exceptional circumstances, such as a hospital stay, I may need to cancel a booking. This has never happened before, but if it does all attempts will be made to assist in finding an alternative artist. If this is not possible or is unacceptable to the client, a full refund for 100% of the deposit will be issued. I reserve the right to cancel any booking that has be made under false pretences without liability and retain all payments made by you.

Changes to Bookings

Notification should be given of any changes to a booking as soon as possible. This includes changes to the number of clients, location, treatments planned, dates or times. It is the client’s responsibility to do this as I cannot guarantee availability all day if not pre-arranged. Changes MUST be confirmed in writing via email and are not accepted as written notice until you have received a reply. Change of trial date - we will aim to find a suitable alternative date before the event.. Changes to those having trials - Any changes made by the bride to a trial must be agreed at least 48 hours before the date of the trial. If changes result in the number attending being reduced, any previous booking discounts or travel discounts may be void. Please inform me of changes to confirm new costs. Change of wedding date - I will do my best to re-book the for the new date if possible. If this is not possible then the usual cancellation fees apply. If you decide you require a second trial you will need to pay the full trial amount again. Change to number of clients - A new price will be calculated to reflect any changes in the bridal party and any discounts or special offers may no longer be valid. If part of a booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of the wedding date, the balance is required in full. If any services are dropped within 8 weeks of the wedding day, then a 25% surcharge of the initial quoted price will be charged. Please note: Any discounts will only apply at the time of booking and will not be applied to any changes made after this time. Change of location - We may need to add a travel charge if the location changes. If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of myself, every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.

Payments

All payment is required by BACS or cash. I do not take cheque or paypal payments. All payment details can be found on your invoice. The price agreed at the time of booking is final. If my price list changes at all, your booking will not be affected. All discounts and special offers are agreed at the time of booking based on the number booking. If the number or party changes any discounts may no longer be applicable and full current pricing can be charged. The full cost of a trial is due at the trial, paid in cash or by bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit to guarantee a booking must also be paid by cash or BACS within 10 days of receiving a proposal. An invoice for any outstanding balance will be issued 30 days before your booking date and full payment shall be due no less than 14 days prior to the day of the service. We do not take payment on the day of the wedding.

Travel

The client will cover all necessary travel expenses, including, but not limited to, all public transport costs, any congestion charges and parking charges that are applicable. Travel within 15 miles of my home postcode (SN7 7SN) is free of charge. Travel will be charged at 45p per mile thereafter and the same for the return journey. Travel, parking, congestion and public transport costs will all be added to the final invoice.

Other

The client agrees that any photography may be used for publicity which include but are not limited to social media pages and portfolios. I reserve the right to refuse work if a client is rude, aggressive, upsetting or abusive in any way. In this case the usual cancellation policy will apply. I do not provide any credit terms. All terms and conditions are right at the time of publication.
